NEW YEAR IS HERE
Three Monkeys Cafe was where we were on New Year Eve, waiting for countdown and cheering for 2009 to come. There was actually no table for us when we called to book for one. My instinct told me to go there and meet the manager personally. After a quick bite and Mc Donalds, we whizzed past traffic to reach Orchard Tower. We were told to come back before ten pm for any cancellation of booking. Luck was on our side and a table for ten had been reserved for us when we enquired later.
The rest of the gang had not had their dinner. Fruit juices and finger food to last us till midnight were ordered. Meanwhile the boys joined us one by one after booking out from camp.
We managed to make friends with some tourists from Hongkong and Perth. The night was noisy yet we we're waiting excitedly to usher in the new year. Amidst the bursting of balloons and poppers, 2009 pushed it's way in with uncertainities while 2008 made its exit.
Have a blessed 2009 folks!
